This pre-course segment informs the Learner of the important information contained in the ‘Learner Handbook for Online Learning’. Although all learners have received this Handbook prior to commencing with this Programme, it is essential that they are thoroughly familiar with the contents thereof. A Learner Declaration is required to be submitted for each Learner prior to the commencement of the Online Learning Component of the Programme. By submitting a Learner Declaration, learners acknowledge that they have read, understood and accept the terms and conditions stipulated in the Learner Handbook. Learners will not be able to proceed with the Programme unless they have submitted a Learner Declaration.

This Foundation Training segment prepares the Learner to efficiently use the online learning portal of EPT Aviation Training. This is a non-examinable segment, however, the Learner's knowledge and understanding is tested by a Self Study Quiz. This is an Examinable Course and the learner’s theoretical knowledge will be assessed by means of a multiple choice examination and the application of this knowledge will be assessed in practical assessments during the Mandatory Residency Component of this Programme. This is an examinable Course and the learner’s theoretical knowledge will be assessed by means of a multiple choice examination and the application of this knowledge will be assessed in practical assessments during the Mandatory Residency Component of this Programme. This Course pertains to the theoretical syllabus for Aviation Security Training for the licensing of Cabin Crew members as prescribed by the SA-CARs (Part 64) and SA-CATS (Part 64).
